PART-TIME CONSTRUCTION CLERK
Township of Berlin is seeking a part time individual for the construction office, hours are 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Thursday. Candidate must have strong customer service skills, must be organized to process and maintain essential logs, records, files and the ability to respond and manage OPRA request. To have the ability to prepare reports, correspondences and to review and process permit applications and other documents for completeness and accuracy. Must have a working knowledge of office computer use, experience with MPAS is preferred but not required. Employment applications are available on Berlin Township’s website. PUBLIC WORKS LABORER (TEMPORARY/ SEASONAL)
Berlin Township is seeking temporary/ seasonal employment of a qualified, responsible, energetic and motivated individual to perform a variety of public works labor tasks, which include leaf collection; collection of bulky waste items; streets, buildings and grounds maintenance and other public works tasks. The individual must possess strong communication skills, able to perform physical labor, work independently and with others, follow directions and complete tasks in a timely manner and safely operate hand tools and power equipment. Depending upon the work load, the individual may work up to 29 hours/ week. Typical work days are up to 8 hours. The pay rate is $14.91/ hour.
